This is a question that I have been asked more & more frequently over the last few years, & so I thought it would be a good opportunity to share a few thoughts.
Firstly - I am not a tattoo artist. I am an illustrator who can create the line work & greyscale/colour final to be used by a tattoo artist when inking you in person.
Secondly - With fear of sounding like your parents... have a long think about what you would like to have permanently inked on your body because it is going to be around for a while. Take the time to research your idea, define a colour palette, be confident about where it will be placed on your body & most importantly find a brilliant tattoo artist that you can trust who will do your idea justice & often beyond.
How this process unfolds from my end...
Opening Consultation > 1st round review > 2nd round review > Line final > Greyscale/Colour Final

For a visual I thought I would show you one of my latest designs which I had the privilege of doing for a close mate of mine (Abby) currently residing in Vancouver, BC.
