Art Against Knives

It is a pleasure to be contributing an illustration to Art Against Knives (AAK) gallery based in London UK. "AAK was born from the tragic and unprovoked stabbing of Oliver Hemsley, a 21-year-old student from Central Saint Martin’s College of Art & Design. The vicious attack, which has left Oliver in a wheelchair, took place in Shoreditch, East London, in August 2008. It is the impact of this that drives Art Against Knives to create something positive from such a life-changing experience."

There are many ways to get involved whether you live in London or abroad so don't be shy. Check out their 'How You Can Help' & see where you can serve. It is a brilliant opportunity to be a part of something that is greater than who we are as individuals. This sense of community reminds me as an artist that it is not all about getting ahead, but rather coming along side that causes change.

Below is my illustration that I will be shipping out tomorrow titled 'Redemption'
