The sketchbook for me is a collection of thoughts, ramblings, inspiration, ideas & mumblings that are individually beautiful in their own way. The ability to capture an idea through a few lines is a discipline that takes... discipline as what I really want to do is just keep drawing. Time doesn't always allow this luxury, but at least a few simple lines can capture the essence allowing the inspiration to be revisited at another time. My advice - always carry a sketchbook (& pen/pencil) with you whenever possible as moments of inspiration, intrigue and discovery tend to present themselves at the most peculiar times.
